As an artist, I have often wondered about the dynamics of the perceptual and conceptual process of observation. For me, photographing is an act of presence, not only physical but above all mental. It is a moment of revelation where reality is no longer simply what is represented but suggests something else, in a sort of sensory distortion that involves the interpretative process. Instant photography is used as a direct and unstructured medium along with writing, to accompany the observer into an unexpected and poetic dimension, revealing a new interpretation of the image, seemingly decontextualized from the objective representation of reality. The project is thus an invitation to critically reflect on how we perceive everyday life, demonstrating that visual perception is not only a physical act but also a deeply conceptual process. “Poetic of an ordinary day” is a tribute to the art of observing and discovering the power of imagination.

Poetica del Banale

“La fotografia è un’immagine che sempre già si distacca dal presente,

Come artista, mi sono spesso interrogata sulle dinamiche del processo percettivo e concettuale dell’osservazione. Fotografare, per me, è un atto di presenza, non solo fisica ma soprattutto mentale. È un momento di rivelazione in cui la realtà non è più semplicemente quella rappresentata ma suggerisce altro, in una sorta di distorsione sensoriale che coinvolge il processo interpretativo. La fotografia istantanea viene impiegata come medium diretto e non strutturato insieme alla scrittura, per accompagnare l’osservatore in una dimensione inaspettata e poetica, rivelando una nuova lettura dell’immagine, apparentemente decontestualizzata dalla rappresentazione oggettiva della realtà. Il progetto è dunque un invito a riflettere criticamente su come percepiamo la quotidianità, dimostrando che la percezione visiva non è solo un atto fisico ma anche un processo profondamente concettuale. “Poetica del Banale” è un tributo all’arte di osservare e scoprire il potere dell’immaginazione.
